INTERACTIVE SOCIAL MUSIC APP THAT LETS YOU HOST MUSIC ROOMS AND BE A DJ

PHONOGRAM is an interactive social music app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The app is used to play music at social gatherings. Users of the app can create new music rooms and invite others to join.

You can enter the music rooms and become a DJ to submit DRM free songs from your playlist to the host queue of songs. Up to 5 DJs are allowed in this version of the app. DJs will receive points based on guests Like votes on the songs played.

Users can also join as a guest and Like or Dislike the songs and socialize through Facebook and Twitter by posting the song information.

Phonogram utilizes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology to sync DRM free songs and exchange encrypted data between host and guest devices in a music room. Your device (as a guest or DJ) needs to be on the same network as the host device which would be connected to speakers and actually playing the songs. If both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are on, app uses Bluetooth to connect to the host.

Places where you could use this app to play music and give a chance to others to queue their own songs and socialize are: at parties, family gatherings, cars and other transportation vehicles specially when on a trip, cafes, bars, or any other social gathering place like getting together with your friends in a park.
